These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the HairStyle AI mobile application and the website at myhairstyleai.com (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA / UK) to use HairStyle AI. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these age requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Your account
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials confidential. Notify us immediately at support@myhairstyleai.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload photos of anyone other than yourself, unless you have their explicit consent.
- Upload content that is illegal, sexually explicit, harassing, or violates the rights of any third party.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our AI models or source data.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or generated content for commercial use without our written permission.
- Interfere with the Service, attempt to bypass usage limits, or use automated tools to access the Service.
- Use the Service to generate misleading content with intent to deceive (e.g. impersonating another person).
4. Subscriptions and billing
HairStyle AI offers paid subscriptions through your device's app store (Google Play, Apple App Store). All purchases are processed by the relevant store and billed according to that store's terms.
- Free trial: Eligible users receive a 3-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription begins automatically at the listed price.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your store account settings.
- Refunds: Refund requests are handled by the app store you purchased through, subject to that store's policies.
- Price changes: We may change subscription prices. We will notify you in advance. Continued use after a price change means you accept the new price.
5. AI-generated content
The Service uses generative AI to create hairstyle previews from your photos. Because AI output is probabilistic, we cannot guarantee any specific result, and previews may not perfectly represent how a hairstyle will look on you in real life. Final results depend on skill of the stylist, your hair texture, and other factors outside our control.
You retain ownership of the photos you upload. You grant us a limited, worldwide license to process those photos solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you (e.g. running them through our AI pipeline and storing your saved styles). The license ends when you delete the content or your account.
6. Intellectual property
The Service — including code, design, branding, and curated style catalog — is owned by HairStyle AI and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non- transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time from inside the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you have violated these Terms, abused the Service, or for any other reason consistent with applicable law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that AI previews will accurately represent real-world outcomes.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HairStyle AI and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HairStyle AI from claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any third party's rights.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction of residence to the extent required by mandatory consumer-protection rules. Otherwise, they are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date will reflect the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after the changes means you accept the updated Terms.
